What we build
Most jobs take more than one trade. As a general contractor we take on the full scope, so you make one call instead of five.
New HomesBuilt from the ground up, with the design and finishes settled before we break ground.
Additions and Whole-Home RenovationsMore house, or the one you have taken apart and done properly.
Kitchen and Bath RemodelsEverything chosen and ordered before demolition, so nobody waits on a back order with your kitchen torn out.
Structural RepairsRepairs to the building itself, coordinated with the engineer and carried through inspection.
Decks and ExteriorsDecks, exterior repairs, and the work around the outside of a building.
Water Damage RepairsDemolition, drying, then everything put back: framing, drywall, paint, floors.
Commercial ImprovementsFor businesses and property managers, run with the planning of a much larger job.
Public WorksWork for public agencies, with the documentation those contracts require.
One contractor. Every trade.

Verceles Construction (530) 721-6441You do not have to be here.
Some of our clients own a home here and live hours away. They do not drive up to check on the job, and they do not need to.
Every project gets a shared folder holding the permits, the plans, and photos from each stage of construction, and we walk you through progress on a video call. You see what has been done, what comes next, and what it costs, from wherever you are.
Stage photos from one of our new home builds, the kind that go in a client's folder.

A family business
Verceles Construction has been family owned and locally run for more than 20 years, building in South Lake Tahoe and Sonora.
We are not trying to become the biggest construction company in the region. Our goal is to be the most trusted one in the communities we work in.
The planning of a multimillion-dollar project, with the attention of a local contractor.
Quality is never an upgrade. It is our standard.
Whether the job is a repair or a new home.
From the people we have built for
“Jon has been our go-to contractor in South Lake Tahoe. We first hired him for electrical work and what set him apart is that he finished the WHOLE job. … He's responsive, reliable, very easy to communicate with, and shows up when he says he will.”
“Jon showed up before purchase and walked through it and pointed out things I missed (and the realtor) in addition to discussing the issues I had noticed. … They have made large headaches into easy fixes putting my wife and my worries aside as they made our house a home!”
“Jonathan is great to work with very punctual and knowledgeable and easy to talk too it has been a great experience”
